How I got here
I started by making games in Scratch, then in GameMaker Studio, then in Godot. A physics puzzler, an infinite platformer and a Christmas stealth game came out of that, along with a menu and input system for GameMaker that I documented and released on its own.
Python came next, and a lot of small side projects with it. I fine-tuned an image classifier to tell forks, knives and spoons apart, mostly to find out whether I could train something on a dataset I had photographed half of myself. I also wrote a solver that reads a word search puzzle out of a photograph and finds the words in it.
Then I wanted to build something for the Mac, so I learned Swift and SwiftUI. That became Applite.
All of it self-taught, and all of it before a model would write the code for me.
